Controlling stimuli duration with $ entry in text box in the builder

I must be overlooking something really obvious, but does anyone know what my $ entry into the frame duration box is not working? (hopefully you can see the screen shot ok)

All the variables are in the spreadsheet, (including a column headed frameN) and the others are working fine. But I also want to put the timing of my stimuli in from the spreadsheets, because the individual frame durations differ. I can’t figure out why it isn’t working!

Please can someone enlighten me? Thank you so much,

Off the top of my head, I think frameN is a variable used by psychopy, so maybe there’s a naming collision? Try renaming your column to something else like frameDur

That was it! Changed to frameDur and all is running like clockwork. Good thinking, thanks for your help Daniel!
