Connecting to External Devices

What are you trying to achieve?:
I want my subjects to answer using an external USB keyboard.

What did you try to make it work?:
I tried to answer using an ELECOM external USB type keyboard on the psychological task, but the psychological task I created did not respond.

What specifically went wrong when you tried that?:
How can I use an external USB keyboard to make my experiment a success?
Is the manufacturer of the external device the problem?

External keyboards should work just the same as internal - however if you’re running on a laptop then it may be that the internal keyboard asserts itself as the primary input and overrides any input from the external keyboard. This will be an issue with your keyboard’s individual drivers, but you may be able to set (either via Windows Settings or any software which comes with the laptop) which one is considered the primary input device. Check the Device Manager, that may be helpful.

It’s going to be difficult for me to solve this problem.
