Completed URL to Prolific not working

Hello everyone.

I am recruiting participants for my online experiment via Prolific. I tested a few of them to see if everything was properly working. The data is properly collected and saved but participants were not able to be redirected to Prolific after the experiment. Almost all of them sent me a message regarding this and the fact that they had to complete the experiment with NO CODE.

In my Experiment settings, I copied the path that Prolific gave me under the Completed URL.

However, for some reason, participants were not redirected and after clicking on “ok“ in the message box, their screen was just blank. I checked the JS file of the experiment and the redirect URL is properly defined here as well:

psychoJS.setRedirectUrls(‘Prolific, ‘’); (I replaced the actual completion code with COMPLETION_CODE here.)

I conducted several online experiments before on an earlier Psychopy version and I did not encounter this issue.

Has anyone had this kind of problem on Psychopy 2025.2.3beta and knows what is going on?

You can only use psychoJS.setRedirectUrls if you have something in the Completed URL in Experiment Settings / Online.

Hi,

I have something in the Completed URL in Experiment Settings / Online (the URL that Prolific gave me). Sorry if that was not clear. I was saying that I checked in the JS file if the psychoJS.setRedirectUrls was indeed the one that is in the Completed URL in Experiment Settings / Online. And it is the case.

Please could you test it to check what URL you are being sent to?
