Code to auto adjust signal to noise ratio of stimuli (sound) trials and mix channels in a pupillometry exp

Hi there,

I am running a speech in noise/pupillometry experiment. I had planned to just set the SNRs of the stimuli and mix the tracks together manually via audacity but this is quite tedious as I have a large amount of stimuli. I was wondering if anyone out there has any advice on how to make it a bit more sophisticated.

Ideally, I would like to a dialog box where I can pick the particular soundtrack/list (16 trials each) in which each sentence trial is on two channels (e.g. noise on one, target speech on the other). I want to be able to select particular list that I want and then select the desired signal to noise ratio from a dialog box and have the program automatically amplify/mix/render the trials. As opposed to manually doing this and having pyschopy read in each -already amplified and mixed- trial.

Unfortunately, I am very new to psychopy and I am not sure where to begin.

Apologies if this is too vague!

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you
