Calibration routine prior to each block skipped with Eyelink eyetracker

Hi all,

I just ran into an issue with the eyetracking calibration routine when using an SR-Research eyelink system. I wanted to run a new calibration prior to each block (i.e., as the first routine in the blocks loop). When using the MouseGaze tracker, this works fine but when selecting SR Research, the camera setup starts on the first iteration of blocks but is skipped on any subsequent iteration.

Is this a known issue and is there a workaround? I tried using a code component with eyetracker.runSetupProcedure() in the Begin Routine tab instead of using the builder calibration routine but I run into the same problem.

Thanks already for any help!

Jens

Hi Jens!

I am running into the same issue: the two calibrations happen one immediately after the other and then the experiment starts without considering my commands of stop and start recording. Did you find any solution to this problem?

Thank you very much.

Giorgia

Hi Jens,

I am also interested in whether you have found a solution to this problem. I have encountered the same issue.

Best regards,
Judith
