I have recently calibrated my monitor using Spyder/datacolor software. Now, when I try to run my program, it is extremely bright when it begins running and then switches to the correctly calibrated settings anywhere between 5-20 seconds after I start the program. The switch seems to occur randomly and independently of what the program is doing (could happen while still on the instructions screen or a few trials in). Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and know a way around it? I want the correct settings to be in place as soon as the program begins running.

Edit: I should note I have encountered this same issue before, with entirely different monitors, computers, and programs than I am using now so I don’t think it is an anomaly.
