I had a similar issue when trying to run an experiment with sound component. So wav files were working locally but mp3 files do not work either locally or online. I understand that locally they should not work anyway but shouldn’t they work online? I get this
when I try to run my experiment online and it gets to the point where the sound should be heard:
I am running into the same issue. Did you find a solution? I can run the online version from Pavlovia on PC but not on MAC.
For me the audio wav files allow the experiment to run normally on my mac and then when I want to run it online I change those to audio mp3 files. Make sure you keep both wav and mp3 files in the folder of your experiment and in the settings—>online you need to attach the mp3 files
