Answer Option "0" from questionnaire not possible

Hello there,
I´d like to add the value 0 to my answer options of my questionnaire.
My Scale includes the values 0, 1, 2, 3. When I create a slider these values get saved as one value higher, because my “Ticks” in the slider start with 1, so 0 becomes 1, 1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 3 and 3 becomes 4.

How can I adjust it so that the values are saved according to their original scale?
If 0 is not possible, then saving as -1 would also be okay.

Thank you!

Hello @Aa77

did you specifiy the slider-component as follows?

This gives me a rating of 0 when selecting 1, 1 when selecting 2.

Best wishes Jens

Hi Jens,
yes my ticks also start with 0, only the lable is a different one, but that shouldn´t be the problem.
So the problem is, that if i select the first option (which would be tick 0), I can´t enter to the next slide. Only sometimes it´s possible to enter to the next slide when I first click on the second option (here label 2, tick 1) and correct my choice to option one (label 1, tick 0). But it just doesn´t work at all if i select only option one (label 1, tick 0) straight away.

Hello @Aa77

The problem you now describe

is different from the problem

above.

Did you succedd in getting the value that you selected, 0 for 0, 1 for 1 aso.?

When you select Force end of Routine, your slider component should end the routine. How did you set up the routine?

Best wishes Jens

Hi @JensBoelte,
to demonstrate my settings of my routine attached the following picture.
Unfortunately I didn´t succeed getting the value 0 for 0. I created another button that has to be selected to get access to the next slide. Unfortunately this doesn´t work, if I select the value 0.

Best regards Alisa

Hello @Aa77

Is there a reason why you do not check the Force End of Routine-button to end the routine? Your labels and ticks work for me. I get ‘0’ when selecting ‘1-2’.
