Unknown resource error persists

Description of the problem:
Unfortunately we encountered the following error:

  • when importing condition: resources/instructions.xlsx
  • when getting the value of resource: resources/instructions.xlsx
  • unknown resource

But the instructions.xlsx is in resources where the code is pointing.

From what I understand (correct me if I’m wrong), everything in the resources folder should be downloaded during the first dialog window (as explained here: Pavlovia), but this doesn’t happen in my case. After the dialog it goest straight onto the error.

Do you have the .psyexp file, or did you write the experiment solely in Javascript code?

That link is out of date. Please look at Resources in online studies — PsychoPy v2023.2.0

However, it is very difficult to troubleshoot an experiment written in PsychoJS directly.
