PsychoPy version: 1.84.x Standard Standalone
I am making a basic delay discounting task with multiple trials, and everything worked well yesterday however today the text does not show up when I run the program. The task runs like normal and displays the correct stimuli and the response keys work, but none of the text shows up, just the blank grey screen or just stimuli images. I’ve restarted my computer and the program, I even made a new experiment and the text still will not display even though everything else works. When the experiment finishes running there are no error messages so I can’t figure out what is wrong.

Hi Leah,
I am new at PsychoPy (Builder), but probably any advice or suggestion could help to solve your problem.
Just in case… have you checked that the units in the text object did not change? Specially: letter heigh and position.
Check the units in the Experiment Settings window: the same value in norms or pixels units may present or not the text in the screen (either for the size of the letters or the position in the screen).
If this doesn´t work, please comment other important details from your experiment.

I wish you could help with your problem. I just started using PsychoPy, and I’m trying to make a basic delay discounting task. I’m running into quite a few issues (mostly because I’m not great with the program yet). Would you be willing to share how you got the dollar amount to adapt and be displayed? Sorry if that isn’t very specific!
