Text appearing off of a participant's screen

I’ve been customizing letter height to look good on my screen, but when someone tested it, the text appeared off of their screens like this:

I assumed that the experiment would scale to each person’s screen, but maybe I’m wrong?

They mentioned having an external monitor attached. Could that be the issue?

Are you using height units?

I guess it’s possible that they started the experiment on one monitor and then dragged the expInfo box to a different monitor with a different resolution.

I set “letter height” to 0.05. I’m not sure if that is height units?

I’ve just noticed that your screen shot has scroll bars. Is this an embedded html page? You shouldn’t get scroll bars if full screen. Also check experiment settings whether it’s full screen or a window.

Thanks for the reply. It isn’t an embedded HTML page, and it is set to full screen.

It doesn’t seem to be a problem for anyone else, so I’m going to just chalk it up to some weirdness from the two monitors.
