Hi！I am looking for some help for an adaptive staircase procedure.
In the loop’s Properties interface, when I set Looptype as staircase, there will be several parameters(eg. nReps, start value, max value, N reversals, ect.) to be entered in on the bottom part of the interface.
My question is how to set a maximum trials number since there is only an ‘nReps’ , which is used to set the minimum trials number.
The purpose of my experiment is to terminate the test after eight response reversals(2 down/1 up) or after the maximum 40 trials.
