Were you ever able to find a solution to this issue? I am having a very similar problem with audio on Pavlovia (detailed in this thread). It seems like @EllaVan described the same problem here as well.
Between the three of us, it seems like we have encountered this issue in PsychoPy versions 2024.1.3, 2025.1.1, and 2025.2.3. It is not limited to a specific browser or audio file type.
