Since when has psychopy autosaved?

Since when has psychopy autosaved? when l shorten loops for testing, and deliberately don’t save them, but just shut the file down, when l open it again the unwanted changes are there. The version is 2020.1 but l have been using it for a while and l don’t recall this happening before. am l accidentally doing something wrong? Cheers!
