What are you trying to achieve?:
Hi there!
I am trying to creat an experiment, where as soon as a picture is shown, psychopy should send one of three different triggers to a different computer. I do know how to send a trigger but my problem is a more basic one. My problem here is, that I don’t know how to set up the excel files/experiment properly, so that psychopy knows which conditions there are and in which order the pictures should be presentet. I tried to help myself with this related post: Sending markers to EEG through serial port
Unfortunately it doesn’t give enough information about setting up those excel files.
This is what I did so far:
This is my experiment set up. The first loop is for the condition which trigger should be send with which picture. This is the Excelsheet for that:
The second loop is for randomizing the picture order. This is the spread sheet:
But if I run the experiment, I’ll get an error message:
I really don’t know what I have to do to make it work or how to set those files properly.
Can anyone give me some advise? Thank you a lot!
