What are you trying to achieve?: Send triggers to the EEG system using Display++ (Cambridge Research Systems)
What did you try to make it work?:
Hello,
We are currently using a Display++ (Cambridge Research Systems - Display++ LCD Monitor) combined with Psychopy (2022.2.4) running in Linux to collect psychophysics data.
However, in our next project, we’d like to collect some EEG data. For that, we’d like to use the equipment’s Trigger system. If I understand correctly, we only need to present a specific pattern in the display to send triggers. In fact, if we open and present example images from the documentation (see an example attached) in fullscreen (outside Psychopy), we can see the triggers in the system.
However, we have not been able to replicate this inside Psychopy. Our idea was to present one of the images that control the trigger system and our target so the trigger is sent correctly in practice. We previously did this using the VIEWPixx system, which worked well.
We are also happy to use code alternatives. Our experiment is pretty simple, with large intervals between triggers, so it should be simple.
Has anyone ever used Psychopy combined with Display++ to send triggers?
Thank you in advance,
