Responses before using PsychoPY

Hi I am super new to this and I have already made and posted and gained responses from my Pavlovia survey and hadn’t done anything on PsychoPY. When I downloaded the responses to excel it didn’t really make sense is there any way I can correct this? Or somehow simplify my results on excel to see what the answers to what questions were? I am so confused

Hi. Please could you give an example of something you don’t understand?

Your survey questions should have titles and values which appear in the spreadsheet.

Sorry yes I will try to explain it better. I basically have completed a pavlovia survey and got my responses and when I download the excel of responses the data is all over the place and I was looking for answers and everyone seems to have used psychoPY which I didn’t is there any way I can use it afterwards to help arrange my responses?

The data should be alphabetical by question title.

If you just have a survey then there’s no advantage of embedding it into a PsychoPy experiment.

If you use a stats package like statscloud or jamovi (or SPSS) then you don’t need to worry so much about the column order.

I hope this photo loads it explains what I’m looking at basically the question starts at 1 and jumps to 10 and there is no titles or anything to go with the quantitative data

So I wouldn’t know how to go about putting this into spss as I am unsure what is referring to what

Go back to your survey and look at the question names:

You haven’t changed them so they will probably be numbered in the order you created them.

Also, remove the tick from “with response times” (unless you really want it)
