We are seeking an enthusiastic early-career scientist for a (predoctoral) research assistant position at Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research team to work on the cognitive mechanism of human decision-making, integrating online behavioural experiments and computational modelling.
The post holder will design, implement and conduct large-scale online behavioural experiments (use Psychpy or jsPsych). The research aims to understand the computational and cognitive processes of human decision-making, and how individual differences in decision-making are influenced by learning. You will also be expected to collaborate with other researchers in the team on data analyses and data curation, as well as migrating existing lab-based experiments to online platforms.
