What are you trying to achieve?: trying get PTB to work
What did you try to make it work?: the experiment runs correctly with other sound libraries, everything is updated to newest versions
I contructed an experiment in which an observer task is to detect a target sound within a continous stream. Everything runs perfectly when using any sound library other than PTB. When I choose PTB the sound seem to be played too ‘fast’ including change in pitch. I’m not sure where to look for solution, similar issue was considered here: Audio stimuli changed in pitch? but didn’t propose any solution.
