Psychopy updates... and proxy setting

I just found out that I had been using old version of Psychopy.

Then I found that Main menu > Tools > Psychopy updates… is not working (see attached).

OS : MacOS 10.14.6
PsychoPy version: v2020.1.2

I am having the same issue. I just installed the latest version (v2022.1.2) but when I go to updates, I get the same pop-up. I tried checking and unchecking the proxy box. Any advice?

is there an update on this? Still not working on a Mac despite the above settings
