PsychoPy version: 2025.2.3 Py 3.10.11
I am trying to run a Psychopy routine to play a movie triggered by a keyboard event. The movie triggers as it is supposed to, however, there is a lag every 4-5 seconds. I tried switching the backends used from ffpyplayer to moviepy, opencv, and vlc with no luck.
The caveat is that this issue only occurs on one type of laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 1 Business Laptop, AMD Ryzen 7 7730U, 16GB RAM). I ran the routine on two of these laptops and the issue persisted, however, I cannot replicate the issue on Macs.
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to proceed with finding a solution.
