PsychoPy 3 error window (open console or terminate) after installing PsychoPy 2021.1.1

Hi everyone,

I’m using Mac OS 10.13.6. I used PsychoPy 2020.1.2 before. When I run experiment on Pavlovia, some of the saved csv files (the results) are empty. I thought updatingPsychopy may solve the problem, so I installed version 2021.1.1. However, when I open psychopy, an error window occurs with “Open console” or “Terminate”. Then I downloaded the older versions (2020.1.2; b12 3.0.0; b10 3.0.0), all versions show the same error window upon opening.
When I open Psychopy in terminal, the error messages are shown below:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Deleting the .psychopy3 folder in your home folder might fix the error.

I’m experiencing the same problem with v2021.1.4. Any ideas out there on how to mend this?
