Problem with sound settings

Hi everyone,

how do I check sound settings in PsychoPy? I have an experiment where (offline) PsychoPy crashes after the first trial, and the error message says this:

devnames = sorted(sound.getDevices(‘output’))
AttributeError: module ‘psychopy.sound’ has no attribute ‘getDevices’

I can’t check anything via File --> Preferences because nothing happens then (there is no popup window).

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled PsychoPy.
