I’m considering moving to PsychoPy for our EEG experiments and have been reading some of the documentation and posts on the forum and need some clarification: Is there an OS dependency for the EGI 300 series amps? Some of the documentation suggests that there is, but other sources suggest otherwise. Please let me know, and my thanks in advance for your help.

There is not an OS dependency on the PsychoPy side of things. You have two options:

  1. Use the PsychoPy2 version of the egi plugin
  2. Use PsychoPy3 egi-pynetstation plugin

The trick with option #2 and the 300 series amplifier is that your Net Station computer has to serve as the NTP server and that machine is limited to running 10.12.x.
