Keyboard component disabled in Psychopy builder

It might be that my list of steps don’t work for your Mac. This is definitely the most likely cause.

macOS: Adding keyboard response frozes the experiment

Hello! I’ve encountered this problem: as soon as I add a keyboard response to the welcome screen routine, the whole experiment breaks down. It’s as if Psychopy just can’t see the keyboard. I’ve tried adding different keys as valid keys, I’ve tried adding and removing time limits - nothing works. No error messages either, it just gets frozen on the screen.
