Keyboard component disabled in Psychopy builder

Hello, I am new to Psychopy, I encountered an error in the keyboard component and I don’t know where it went wrong.
When I run my experiment, once I press any button on the keyboard, even when in the introduction part where I set that to press the “space” to continue, Pyschopy start to froze and did not have any response.I had to exit by force and restart Pyschopy.
I tried other possible buttons but it’s all same. So I guess that maybe the whole keyboard component could not work. Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

From my PsychoPy Primer slides

If you are using a Mac then you may need to authorise PsychoPy to monitor your input.

  1. Go to System Preferences (easiest way is to press Cmd+space together, and type System Preferences)
  2. Go to Security & Privacy (top row, the house symbol).
  3. Go to Privacy (top right) and unlock.
  4. Go to Input Monitoring (left hand side)
  5. Add a tick next to PsychoPy
  6. Click Save and Reopen. PsychoPy will need restart.

It might be that my list of steps don’t work for your Mac. This is definitely the most likely cause.
