I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to add a “I am not a robot” tick box to the start of a pavlovia survey. I am not planning on inserting qualtrics/google form links before it (consent form will be within the pavlovia survey).
Is this even possible? After the survey the participants will be directed to a cognitive task, should I add a captcha type test in PsychoPy builder before the main task commences instead? Any advice is appreciated.

This is on our to-do list, and should be fairly easy (for an expert developer). I found this link.
However, I don’t think it is likely to be added soon. I could try adding it to the VESPR Study Portal if I can find the relevant PHP code

Adding a catch trial/prompt is the best way. Then just check responses and don’t assign credit to bad actors. Covers for bots or lazy/no-effort participants.
