Hi Joyce, have you considered running the latest version of PsychoPy but using the psychopy.useVersion() function so that the experiment itself is executed under the specified earlier version?

It can also now I think be used for Builder experiments: just select the version to use in the experiment settings dialog.
I’ve never used this myself. It would be great if you could give feedback on how it works for you.
