I want my trial not to end on key press but to continue to finish showing all the images in series in that trail

What are you trying to achieve?:
I’m building a reaction time experiment. In the exposure phase, I want to present a target and then present the series of ten images. I want participants to identify the target image among the ten images that occur one after the other in series and respond by a keypress. But I don’t want the trial to end of shift to next in between the series of ten images based on pressing the response key.

What did you try to make it work?:
Fixation cross1 - target image - fixation cross2 - images1 - keyresp1 - image2 - keyresp2 - image3 - keyresp3… image10 - keyresp10.

What specifically went wrong when you tried that?:

My experiment works without any error but I don’t want the trials to end on keypress response and I want the participants to view all the ten images in the series.

Is there any way to avoid the trail from shifting to next upon the keypress response?

In the keyboard component properties you should uncheck the box “force end of routine”
