How to skip the routine without information in excel？

How to skip the routine without information in excel?

The experiment material consists sentences in different length.

I hope that the sentences can appear word by word on the screen.

Then, I found a problem: the shorter sentences may don’t include a word in the later routine.

When coming to this routine, the word of the previous sentence in this location may appear.

Therefore, how can I skip this routine （eg. final5 and final6 of the first sentence shown in the picture） when there is no information of this column in excel without showing a blank or words in previous sentences?

Just add a custom code component to the word presenting routine (e.g. Routine for fifth word) and write in the each frame segment something like:

The comparison final5==“” may not work, so using something like “NA” as an explicit “empty-indicator” should be more robust.
