HIPAA compliance?

Hello all!

I am a first-time PsychoPy user from the United States, where we have to obtain formal Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval before we can administer studies

For people who have used PsychoPy/Pavlovia/Github in the US— do you know if the data storage is secure and HIPAA compliant? I know it likely is, but couldn’t find any specific info on this— I know it is GDPR compliant (which seems broader than HIPAA).
