OS (e.g. Win10): macOS 12.5 PsychoPy version (e.g. 1.84.x): 2023.1.2
Hi!
I’m building an eyetracker experiment (testing with Mouse Gaze), where I use two eyetracker record components in PsychoPy Builder (one to start the recording and one to stop recording).
When I run my experiment, the experiment freezes on a grey screen at the eyetracker stop record component. I have to hit ESC to force-quit the experiment and there is no error message recorded either. If I remove the eye tracker stop record component, the experiment runs to completion smoothly.
I’m new to Psychopy so I’m quite lost on how to approach this issue and would appreciate any advice. Thank you!
What are you trying to achieve?:
I would like to prevent the experiment from hanging at the eyetracker stop record component.
I ran into the same issue with PsychoPy version 2024.1.4 on macOS 14.4.1. I’m pretty sure that this is a bug in the code and I have just submitted a PR to fix it.
