I am getting this error when trying to sync my experiment to upload to Pavlovia. I have created new HTML files to try and solve the issue, but it has not helped. I do not have Git downloaded to my computer, and would like to keep the uploading process as simple as possible.

One thing that I am concerned about is that the experiment was in Gitlab (I got it there via Export HTML and creating a new project) but it was not loading onto Pavlovia, so I deleted it from Gitlab as I saw another forum recommend doing that to start over. Now when I click Export HTML and try to sync it in hopes of the ‘create a new project’ window appearing, I get this error.

Thanks so much in advance!

I managed to fix my problem by going into my experiment folder, and viewing my unhidden items (shit+command+period on a mac) and deleted my hidden .git and associated folders. This allowed me to upload my experiment to Gitlab and Pavlovia successfully.
