Experiment saving data as an empty .log file some of the times

OS (e.g. Win10): Win 10

What are you trying to achieve?:
I have an experiment running in the PsychoPy non-online version. This experiment usually runs fine and saves all the data collected from participants as a .log and a .csv file. Out of about 30 runs, 2 of these have for some reason not been recorded, even though the experiment was running as usual and the participant has been actively engaged in the task. The output of these 2 non-recorded runs was just a .log file with nothing in it (0 kb).

I tried to troubleshoot it by running through the task myself, but I failed to recreate the issue - the experiment saved all the files as it should.

I want to make sure the experiment saves all the runs from all the participants as I want to prevent data loss as much as possible. So far, this is a mystery to me, since the experiment does not crash / saves most of the runs. Not sure what the issue might be. I would really appreciate any tips.

I ran into the exact same issue. We had run about 30 participants and 1 person’s data has not been recorded. no csv file was created and the log file is 0 kb. Ironically, this is an eye tracking data, we had all hdf5 files saved.

I also failed to reproduce the bug after several times I ran the experiment. Any help would be really appreciated.
