What are you trying to achieve?:
I am trying to run my experiment, which runs quite well, however, after the first stimulus presentation, a new pop-up window starts initiating a new experiment to start again, even though I have already a running experiment.

I have the same issue. On other times, PsychoPy opens multiple (3-6) instances of the experiment at the same time, just after a normal double click on Windows 11.

I’m having the same issue, but it seems to be only happening when I press ‘enter’ after filling out the information in the dialog box. If instead of pressing the ‘enter’ key I press the ‘OK’ button in the dialog box, it only starts once.
I think that what you are experiencing is key presses being sent back to the PsychoPy softrware itself as well as being received by the experiment. I have encountered this myself, but I haven’t been able to replicate it recently. Are you using two screens? If so, see whether it makes a difference if you drag PsychoPy to the other screen before running the experiment. What version are you using?
