I am having trouble getting NoiseStim to work. I must have a conceptual issue about what it is doing and which arguments are strictly necessary (and what is .buildNoise()?). Does anyone know of a set of easy examples or a tutorial. I am trying to present a letter, say letter “A”, and then have it be followed by a mask. The mask is white noise spatially filtered to match the spatial frequencies of said letter “A.” I am sure I can do this in python with scipy fft but thought it might be more transparent and simpler if I used a psychopy approach.
