A participant is trying to access their experiment page: https://run.pavlovia.org/incoglab/1se-memory-study/33060/Begin.html on guest and incognito browser.
on this begin page, they are having issues accessing this Begin page but on my end I am not. This is the page they’re seeing:
But in the console there does not seem to be any errors:
I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this - Not sure if it is on the participant end or site/server end
It seems to work when I click on it from an incognito browser. When did this happen? There were intermittent site load issues Friday to Monday.
Is this written in PsychoPy/PsychoJS or jsPsych (or something else)? Presumably you manually added the html start page.
The run.pavlovia.org server has not been hit by bots in the same way as gitlab.pavlovia.org so I don’t think that’s likely to be the explanation. Data collection has not really been affected, except for occasional problems with synchronising data back to gitlab (and those are typically resolved when the following participant runs).
That said, I note that this is a jsPsych study, where my knowledge is less and, certainly, if that were to fetch materials from the gitlab server during a run (which psychoJS studies do not) then I can see that being a problem.
But the study currently loads just fine for me. @sarita-raghunath did you make any changes or work out what was going on?
@wakecarter @jon @JensBoelte Thanks all for your replies and help. This happened yesterday Jul 1, after the outage. I didn’t make any changes to the site itself (just took out the subject’s stimuli before sharing this for privacy). It is written in jsPysch as jon noted. Two other participants have completed their surveys fine so I am guessing its on this person’s end then? Sorry about the goose chase
