Connection Error accessing Pavlovia Survey via Survey ID

Hello,

I’m new to PsychoPy and I’ve been attempting to integrate a Pavlovia Survey routine into my experiment using its ID. However, I keep encountering a “Connection Error” message whenever I press the “Find online…” button. Previously, it was functioning correctly, but after a few weeks, the issue arose despite my internet connection being stable and the Pavlovia server status showing as operational.

I’ve attempted several troubleshooting steps, including uninstalling and reinstalling PsychoPy, restarting the application, and logging in and out of my account. Unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the problem. I’m currently using PsychoPy version 2023.2.3 on a MacBook M1 Sonoma 14.2.1.

Any pointers how I can solve this connection issue?

Hi.

I just got the same error when I tested so I think it might be a bug. I’ve raised a bug report.

did this ever get fixed? This is happening to me now and I’m pretty sure my pavlovia and psychopy aren’t synced

This seems to be fixed in 2024.1.4
