Cannot authorize audio recording in Mozilla Firefox

URL of experiment: structural_priming [PsychoPy]

Description of the problem: in Mozilla Firefox, there is no pop-up message for audio recording authorization. I cannot authorize it manually either.

It seems that Firefox hasn’t listed Firefox as a site asking for microphone permission:

Also, when I try to proceed, I get the following error message (which maybe means that manually setting microphone permissions after the initialization of the experiment wouldn’t have worked anyway?):

The experiment runs fine in Google Chrome and Safari.

Try adding a routine without a microphone component which needs user input at the start.

Thanks @wakecarter for the reply! Actually, the first routine is without a microphone component, and it only needs keyboard response as input.

(As a workaround, we only run this experiment now in other browsers, so we need no solution for the specific experiment right now, but we wanted to give feedback about the issue.)
