Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to know why the online version can not run, but the offline experiment can run properly. The link is [image] Pavlovia The place for the wide community of researchers in the behavioural sciences to run, share, and explore experiments online [Screenshot 2024-12-17 114719] I took a screenshot about the error message. Thanks a lot. Yours sincerely, Xiaochen

If you want your experiment to run online, start by changing the Python code components to Auto. [image] wakecarter: Please put it in End Routine at the bottom and also add print('consentslideN',consentslideN) Your local experiment is now working correctly? What was the final fix? I note that you didn’t add this second print statement.

Dear wakecarter, Thanks a lot for replying. After I used the method you suggesting, it show another error. If you could help me solve it, I would be very grateful. Yours sincerely, Xiaochen [截屏2024-12-17 17.56.23]

Please show where / how you are using this name? I thought it was a variable, but maybe it’s a loop. Or both?

I use it as a loop in the builder. So I think it is a loop at least. But I am not sure if it is also a variable. [截屏2024-12-17 19.13.40]

Remove the code I gave you to add. I think the issue is that you’ve ended the loop name with an underscore. Rename it so it doesn’t end on an underscore.

Dear wakecarter, Thank you very much! I have resolved that problem, and make some progresses. However, I met another issue. It showed a picture can not download. Yours sincerely, Xiaochen [截屏2024-12-17 20.06.34]

That looks like a capitalisation error. [image] Online experiment unable to download an image Online experiments URL of experiment: MA SPR TestA [PsychoPy] (pavlovia.org) Description of the problem: Error Unfortunately we encountered the following error: when setting up a preload queue unable to download resource: instructions/main_ins2.JPG (instructions/main_ins2.JPG) Try to run the experiment again. If the error persists, contact the experiment designer.

Hi, wakecarter, I have changed the capital letter of folders to the lower letter, but it still show the same error, although different picture. Best wishes, Xiaochen [截屏2024-12-17 20.54.27] [截屏2024-12-17 20.54.39]

All of your cases have to match. The time it’s the P in the folder name.

Dear wakecarter, Thanks a lot for helping me resolve the problem. I have changed all the first capital letters of folder names to lowercase letters. I also changed the pathway in the builder to match the new folder names. But it still shows the same error. I do not know if I understand you appropriately. Could you see it again? Now show the name of that file in the folder.
