I have a series of mp4 files that played perfectly when using an older version of PsychoPy, but when I updated to v2022.2.4 (to solve other issues I was having), the audio and video are no longer aligned (the audio is lagging). This seems to be a common problem and most sources suggest changing the size and spatial units. I changed the size in the movie stim to match that of the mp4 file (1280x720) and changed the spatial units to pix. but it’s still lagging.
I also am trying to do a work-around by removing the movie stim and inputing a local URL to the video but I’m not sure how to input a URL in the builder. Is this a feasible resolution? How do you input a URL stim in the builder?
