Audio file download error using Pavlovia

Description of the problem:
This experiment works locally but I’m getting this error when I pilot it online:

Unfortunately we encountered the following error:

  • when downloading the resources for experiment: Aud_GoNoGo
  • unable to download resource: cat_255.mp3 (Decoding audio data failed.)
    Try to run the experiment again. If the error persists, contact the experiment designer.

Can you double check if this file is in the folder html>resources? if not, try manually adding it and then re-syncing your project :slight_smile:

Thanks Becca - yes the file was definitely there. I have now tried with wav files and it seems that is working better… (at least the resources are downloading and I have now progressed to a different error!) so perhaps something with the mp3 format.

Hello,

Can you share where the html folder is? I don’t have it in my local or online repository, after syncing. I’m on Psychopy v2022.2.5 on a Windows 10 remote server. Thank you!
