Hello! I noticed an issue last week that is making it very difficult to view or manage my data directly in Pavlovia. Typically, I verify data submissions by looking at the files on the Pavlovia gitlab repository. Then, I move all good data to a new folder by editing the file name (either one-by-one or using the Web IDE). I successfully have done this for years on many different studies, including the ones I am currently working on. However, I am now repeatedly getting a 403 error screen that says “403 Forbidden nginx”
I get the 403 error when I do any of the following…
- try to open a data file in a new tab (starting in my /data folder and then doing shift+click or right click+“open in new tab” for a specific file)
- When previewing a data file, Edit → Edit Single File
- When previewing a data file, Edit → Edit Web IDE
- When previewing a data file, clicking buttons such as “History”, “Open raw”, or “Download”
- Once I get the 403 error, if I try to go back to a previous page I continue to get the 403 error.
Additional issue:
- When trying to preview a data file, the “Display rendered file” view does not work. A loading circle spins indefinitely. Switching to “Display source” does display the data correctly.
I have experienced these issues on my Windows 10 laptop as well as on a Mac.
These are PsychoPy experiments running on Prolific and a SONA subject pool; the data saves as CSV files.
I am getting this error for studies I am the owner on, and studies where I’m not the owner.
Any help is appreciated! I know I could process my data by downloading it first and doing everything locally, but it would be very useful to me to stick with my typical workflow. Thanks!
