Using JsPsych free-sort with Pavlovia

Description of the problem: I am trying to convert a jsPsych experiment using the free-sort plug-in (or rather my updated version of free-sort) to use on Pavlovia. I got the experiment running without problems (great!), but once the experiment finishes I get the following error:

[jspsych-pavlovia plugin 3.2.5] Error

  • when uploading participant’ results for experiment: pjkohler/free-sort
  • when saving data from a previously opened session on the server
  • unable to JSON decode the value: Extra data: line 1 column 13 (char 12)

I can provide a sample of the json trial data that is to be saved, if necessary.

So it turns out this issue only occurs when I try to save to DATABASE, rather than CSV. So why would saving to the database by an issue?
