apologies for reviving such an old topic,but I’m trying to implement an E-Prime buttonbox (upon request of my supervisor) on my perfectly functioning (until now) PsychoPy experiment on my Windows 10 pc.
I have tried basically everything that you suggested above, tried playing around with the various versions of code that you have provided but still nothing works (I have no programming experience in Python, so I use the Builder interface).
I have a feeling that it might be due to the facto that the buttonbox I use is connected through a usb port and not a serial one (COM1), but --being the unexperienced person that I am --I don’t know how to change it. Any suggestions or recommendations?
