This feature exists only in the PsychoPy builder (it automatically translates any code components). Im unsure of the best way to try and translate a fully coded PsychoPy experiment but https://www.psychopy.org/online/psychojsCode.html is a good place to start.

@enniin , try removing the var declaration. Using var will limit the scope of that variable one particular function. Without var, PsychoPy will create a global variable for you, accessible anywhere in the experiment.
