Sounds stop and data stops recording

Hi there,

I’m attempting to run an experiment from the coder using the standalone psychopy on windows 10. I am able to get through 2 or 3 trials with no problem (there are 6 altogether) and then there will be an odd noise, the mouse will appear on the screen, sounds will stop working, and data stops recording. I have tried to run the experiment on 3 different computers (all windows 10) and but it only does this on 2 of them while on the 3rd it runs perfectly. Any idea why this may be happening?

Please provide a lot more details of your set-up and what you are doing. e.g.

  • PsychoPy version,
  • Audio library being used,
  • The full text of any error messages that occur.
