Sound component doesnt work

Hey,

I have updated my psychopy version, along with some changes to my experiment, and - not sure why but - a sound component has stopped working.
I suspect that it is related to the updating procces, but I am not sure since I have mode some other changes.

The experiment does not crash, although I do get this worning:
WARNING No default speaker specified in Preferences / Hardware, using first speaker found: VY249HGE (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)

Not sure exactly how to define the propper speaker, the audio settings are set to:
Audio library: PTB
Force Streo: V

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi There, In the latest PsychoPy (2025.2.3) you can configure your devices using device manager

If you select this then choose “add device” you can select which speaker you want to use, then in your sound component you should be able to select that speaker - does that work?
