Thanks for your patience and support during the unbelievable last week we’ve had. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about then see this post about the fire in our datacenter provider last week).
I’m writing to let you know that we are nearly done with our “disaster recovery”. We are glad that, despite this very extreme event, we were back in a state to run studies the next day and no data were ultimately lost, but we will also be learning lessons such that, in the future, we would be able to recover more quickly from such a catastrophe.
The last step we need to complete is a final merge of data from before and after the fire and then pavlovia.org will be back on line without further disruption. To perform this final step we will need to shutdown Pavlovia for one more brief period on the morning of Weds 24th March, starting at 7am UK time. We hope this will be a brief pause and we’ll be back online by lunchtime but don’t schedule any participants for this period.
