Sending a TTL signal from Psychopy

Dear Community,
could you give us advice on the simplest way to send a TTl trigger from our parallel port to a force platform that will be set up as a slave to allow PsychoPy to give an order to the platform to begin data acquisition ?

You might want to look at our c-pod product. It doesn’t use the parallel port. Rather, it converts USB to TTL, offers async output, and has Python support.

Other USB based options would be:

  1. U3 (or other model) by LabJack.
  2. USB2TTL8 by LabHackers.*

*I am an owner of LabHackers, so am probably biased about this topic. :wink:
